As the Hairdressers Association, we went to the presence of our Ata before our regular board meeting in Ankara in April. It is impossible for me to put into words the emotions I experienced while laying flowers at our Ata's mausoleum and writing my thoughts in the special notebook of the Anitkabir as the Hairdressers Association President, and the excitement I experienced while holding the pen. If I can be a part of these images in the presence of our Ata, which I saw and envied in newspapers and on television when I was a child, as a child of a family with limited financial means, I owe this first to the Republic founded by our Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Ataturk and then to our profession and the power of our profession.
In our meetings regarding our profession, we shared the projects of our association committees with our Ankara Region members in our meeting organized by our Board Member Metin Kaya and our association member Gürsel Deliktaş and hosted by the Ankara Chamber of Commerce (ATO) Vocational Education Commission President Ömer Sarıoğlu. In the meeting we held with ATO President Mr. Gürsel Baran and ATO Vice President Deputy Mr. Halil İbrahim Yılmaz, we discussed the needs of our sector, shared our ideas about opening undergraduate departments for our profession in universities and consulted on projects that will raise our service standards.
Afterwards, we visited Köksal Özcan, the President of Ankara Women's Hairdressers, Beauticians and Manicurists Chamber, and exchanged ideas.
We would like to thank our entire board of directors, especially our board member Metin Kaya and association member Gürsel Deliktaş, who made it possible for us to hold very productive meetings in Ankara and who contributed greatly to this organization; ATO Vocational Education Commission President Ömer Sarıoğlu, who hosted our meeting; ATO President Gürsel Baran, who hosted us in his office and listened to our projects and ideas; and ATO Vice President Deputy Mr. Halil İbrahim Yılmaz.
